Very likely: The signs/symptoms described are all symptoms of types of seizures, although that particular combination (staring into space and limbs jerking) is not typical. Nevertheless, if a person is experiencing those signs and symptoms, a medical evaluation is definitely warranted, and very promptly given the frequency.
