Diabetes: If your hyperthyroidism isn't controlled, it may cause elevated blood sugar. Type 2 adult onset diabetes would be more likely than type 1 as your blood sugars must be borderline because you state diabetes hasn't been definitely diagnosed as of now. Type 1 is usually more dramatic and severe in presentation. Your endocrinologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you.
