can depression be related to paragard, an iuc birth conrol? i've taken zoloft (sertraline) in the past, my father takes medication for manic depression too.

Hmmm...: Admittedly, i'm not an ob/gyn but I am not aware of paragard leading to depression. It is simply a copper iud, unlike others which release hormones as well. I cannot imagine a mechanism by which a copper iud would lead to depression. Ask an ob/gyn to be sure.
