Treat OA at home.: For home remedies, the mainstay may simply be a heating pad. Although the joints themselves feel hot, and this recommendation then may seem counterintuitive, applying heat will help to circulate out the byproducts of inflammation locally, those that contribute to the pain.

Cut the fat: My research showed statistically significant reduction's in osteoarthritis pain in as little as two weeks by cutting inflammatory fat from the diet. To reduce pain, avoid fried foods, factory farmed animal products. Choose whole grain and bean proteins. Also try wrapping your joint with an ace bandage during the day, to bring more healing blood flow to the area.
