Yes...: The most common cause for hemoptysis, coughing blood, is bronchitis. You need to have this evaluated and treated so see your family doctor. If they cannot help you, then see a lung doctor. Coughing blood is potentially serious and definitely needs evaluation. If you are short of breath, go to the nearest ER. Best of luck to you!!
