Bad timing: Highest risks to the pregnancy are in the first few months, using heroin in the first month is most likely to cause a miscarriage than anything else. Risks are numerous, including damage to brain/CNS, and other important organs, such as heart, liver, kidneys, teratogens can help to malform almost any organ system
