Insufficient data: Please repost and describe the symptoms of what you are calling Basilar Migraine. Who made that diagnosis? Vascular spasm is an obsolete theory of migraine pathogenesis that was superseded at least 20 years ago.

No: A few years ago the answer would have been yes, but with the latest studies it appears that offering these foods between 6 months and a year may actually help prevent allergies to them. However if your child actually demonstrates an allergy to a certain food then certainly avoid that food.

Dr. Felecia Dawson

No: High blood pressure is often due to the genes you have inherited, nutritional status, and/or stress. You can't do much about your genes but you can control what you expose them to. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, sleep at least 7 hours at night, and begin your day with some meditative practice. Research shows that meditation actually lowers blood pressure.
