Palpitations: Heart palpitations are the feelings of having rapid, fluttering or pounding heart. Heart palpitations can be triggered by stress, exercise, medication or, rarely, a medical condition. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/heart-palpitations/basics/definition/con-20034780
