Could still be: Your gallbladder. Many time the GB doesn't empty properly, and removing it relieves the pain. This can be tested for with a CKK HIDA scan, which tracks the filling, then emptying, of your GB. We have the arbitrary criterion of 35% as "normal" but the main thing is do you experience the same pain when you have the test? If not, the pain lies elsewhere.
