Alk phos: Is a blood test which is elevated in liver and bone issues, as well as others. In CML the elevation is likely related to the disease process itself, and the associated "full" bone marrow. The elevation usually comes down with successful treatment.

No: But there are common threads. Patients have high WBC (neutrophils), often splenomegaly and sometimes fatigue an other constitutional symptoms. Most patients diagnosed in chronic phase, also accelerated and blast phase.
