Adjusting is all.: Dealing with loss involves acknowledging the loss, understanding how it has affected you, and then accommodating this in your life. For some losses, such as a parent, one never feels good about this, but one gets used to the loss and works to remember the good and positive this person has done in one's life, and focus on the positive rather than the pain of the loss.
