when does minoxidil 2% spray for traction alopecia start showing results?

Minoxidil: As the alopecia resulting from traction may involve scarring, minoxidil may not be effective. However results usually take anywhere from 6-12 months of daily use. I suggest seeing a specialist if you have not already done so, to be certain the diagnosis is accurate and to discuss other treatment options.
