14 days after LMP: With a 28-day cycle, ovulation happens around day 14. That is day 14 counting from the beginning of a period (the first day of bleeding is day 1). That is also known as 14 days after LMP, which means last menstrual period. The number of days of bleeding or spotting does not matter, and can be 3, 4, 5 days, etc. Can sperm from sex on day 4 live for 10 days until ovulation on day 14? No. No.
