Can be: Whether or not a skin cancer is curable depends on the type of skin cancer and the stage of the tumor. Things like basal cell carcinoma are very curable are very rarely spread. Lower stage tumors are more likely to be successfully treated.

The two together can be very dangerous. If you have a strong family history, lots of sun exposure, or any enlarging skin lesions, be evaluated by your local doctor and/or dermatologist.

Get checked!: Any concerns about skin cancer should be followed by a visit to your physician. Sme cancers are less aggressive like basal cell but can cause disfigurement. Squamous cell cancers can spread, and malignant melanomas are key to catch early as they can spread depending n high deep they really are. Best to be seen and usually have them removed or biopsied.
