Breastfeeding: It is very common to have irregular periods while breastfeeding. Breastfeeding can interfere and in some cases prevent ovulation. It is not a reliable form of birth control for those who do not wish to conceive. If your pregnancy tests are negative then you are not pregnant at this time.
