Sick 8 mo. fever. fatigue etcbeen through much testing, blood tests, scans, now their really starting to look at cancer seriously, . 3 cerv. lymph node for 4 months, ut 2 months ago showed they were 2.0 cm or more. just now talking about aspiration. ?

Needs evaluation: For something that's been ongoing like this for months, you should indeed have proper evaluation. When blood tests don't show a clear answer, the next step is often 'tissue' for diagnosis. If u have enlarged lymph nodes, then a biopsy would be helpful. Basically you NEED a diagnosis so the treatment and prognosis can be determined. Aspiration can be done, or an 'excisional' biopsy-takes whole node
