9 months postpartum. period is on a 45 day cycle. not breastfeeding. not pregnant. no birth control. thyroid levels are normal. any ideas?

Yes.: A 45 day cycle is a normal cycle. I'm assuming, since you seemed concerned, that this is different than the cycle you had before delivery. Sometimes a thyroid test is warranted, but yours is normal.

Yes: You can still get pregnant this early after delivery. Also breastfeed (and contraception) is not 100% protection from getting pregnant.
