i've had episodes of vt so i'm having an ep study to determine if i need an icd. what happens if i experience an episode of vf during procedure?

That is expected: As part of the EP study - Defibrillator patches are applied to the chest. The purpose of the test is to see if you can be induced into VT or VF and how easy is to do that. This is done by stimulating the heart with extra stimuli till the person is induced - the more stimuli needed the less specific the result. Your medical team will be fully prepared for VF. They will shock the heart if needed
