Not for scars: I'm sorry your acne was neglected and you ended up with scars. Nothing you can apply will touch them. If you want them less visible, a plastic surgeon or dermatologist can do laser, filler, or microsurgery. Several Hollywood male stars have kept their scars for "tough guy" roles, and depending on your self-concept, they may be a plus.

Probably not: Ahas are not generally intended for this purpose and may increase redness. In fact salicylic acid peels may be better to decrease inflammation.
