FM therpay: Anti-convulsant class of medications, especially Gabapentin and Pregabalin can be effective in treatment of clinically proved fibromylagia. Topiramate is also an anti-convulsant medication but acts on separate receptors. Along with a mulch-disciplinary and integrative treatment approach, topiramate may be tried in cases of resistant fibromylagia. Dual medication therapy may be needed.

Reservedly: Topiramate is not approved for fibromyalgia (FM) so that benefit is questionable. Perhaps was provided for pain & depression, which is often attendant w. FM, due to restless non-restorative sleep; common w. FM patients, who oft have body pain when reclined on sleep surface. Rational solution is nocturnal pain relief, sleep induction, & mood elevation. Medicinal cannabis provides all three effects.
