Takes time: Best to just let the brain rest. No activity just let him recover and do not go back to dangerous activities. Must not allow the brain to be injured may affect him later in life if gets to much head trauma

How to manage: If he had a head injury with concussion and suffered seizure activity at time, this would not be a cause for concern, and I would not recommend medication. But if he has one or more future seizures, then he should be placed on an anti-epileptic drug. Discuss further with your neurologist.
