back has been hurting for days. today i can hardly walk or stand up straight. lower back hurts. only stops when sitting at an angle. whats wrong?

Sounds like spams: If you don't have numbness, weakness, or bowel or bladder trouble then it should get better with time. Ice every 2 hours and taking ibuprofen and or naprosyn (naproxen) can help. If not better after a week seek a doctor to assess your situation. Try to walk as much as you can and avoid sitting as it can be hard on a sore back,.
