It depends on the--: -grade. I-IV. I=care for about2-4weeks, II=3-5, anything above is much more serious & U should follow the instructions from Ur treating MD. preferably a surgeon. Since U most likely had an MRI U need follow the advice of Ur treater. The spleen is easy to injure @ surgery just by a gentle poke of a finger, & very vascular so any bleeding from it is life threatening.
