while treating my plantar warts, i picked at them. now something is growing under my index fingernail. could be connected? where else could it spread?

Plantar warts: are definitely able to spread. They can spread to the fingers as well. There are different types of treatments that work well that can be prescribed to stop any spreading and to heal the current lesions. You should consult with a Podiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
