Hematoma: If the lump is underneath the scalp, could be a hematoma, which is a harmless blood clot underneath the skin; you may have hit your head the other night at an area with a small blood vessel that bled. Also, alcohol temporarily thins your blood, making an accident like this more likely to occur. My advice: stop drinking, avoid taking aspirin/NSAIDs, and leave it alone; your body will reabsorb it
