when i wake up in the morning, my eyes will feel dry or as if something is stuck in them whenever i close them to go back to sleep. is there something?

Eye dryness: The eyes secrete 1/2 the normal level of tears at night and if your tear flow is lower to begin with, then waking up can be accompanied by a sticky or painful feeling until the normal daily tear flow starts. if this is common, you can try putting in plain eye ointment into the eye prior to sleep (available over the counter) which can relieve the symptoms.
