A normal x-ray: doesn't always mean "all fine", just that there's no apparent bone fracture or joint dislocation. The fingers are very complicated structures with small muscles, tendons and ligaments. If these are swollen, injured or out of alignment, they can cause pain, swelling, popping, clicking & other issues. I suggest that you take her to her pediatrician for follow up. Dr. Anne.
