i have pain in the back of my throat, but only on the right side. no pus pockets, fever, cough or fatigue. but it hurts like the dickens. thoughts?

See dentist & ENT: And You need to start with a full exam by a dentist, and after that maybe an ENT. If they don't find anything wrong, this could be glossopharyngeal neuralgia. Good luck!

I agree! I have seen a few instances of severe muscular pain mimicking such symptoms also.

Sinus inf: Most likely you have sinusitis ie infection in your sinus if symptoms are more than 4-5 days you will need antibiotics etc.
