See a dermatologist: Calamine lotion will aggravate eczema. It drys the skin. A dermatologist will help you. Meanwhile have the child soak for a long time in a warm bath. Then smear with something for dry skin. Ceramide creams from Eucerin, Aveeno, (oatmeal) CeraVe, others are all nice. Also rub in OTC hydrocortisone cream on arms and legs. When you go to the skin specialist bring everything you have used, including cleansers.
