Recurrences are bad: Even though your cancer was early(stage-1) to begin with, any recurrence makes it much more serious/dangerous. So you need to go see a real expert in cancer of the larynx. Such experts can be found in major Cancer centers of which each State of the US has one or more Comprehensive Cancer center/s. I would advise you to get away from your original surgeon who has done your previous surgerie
