suddenly today, began feeling like a hair was rubbing my face (realized it was tingling), only on left side. what could cause this?

Nerve: The most likely cause was an irritable superficial nerve in your face. This is more of a nuisance and tends to resolve quickly. A more serious, but unlikely, cause would be due to a blockage in a neck or brain blood vessel or a lesion in the right side of your brain. Obviously if symptoms persist, worsen or spread to other areas of the left side of your body you'll contact your physician.
