Petechiae: Hello,
those sound like leaks from small blood vessels that burst when a lot of pressure is forced into the head and neck area in children usually from forceful persistent cough or from retching esp. if he has no other markings on skin / unexplained bruising and if not bleeding from other areas and if he does not appear ill. He does require an evaluation for clarity. Take care!
