Is that so?: Perhaps it is contact dermatitis instead. If the meds are properly labeled (tolnaftate,, clotrimazole), they will do the job on tinea pedis.

Candida on the feet can also mimic a recalcitrant "athlete's foot" and there are others. If nothing that your pharmacist recommends among the over-the-counter products is helpful, get seen.
