Run around & No Soda: The best thing for this age is as follows: 1) Join organized sports team(Soccer,football,lacrosse,basketball) 2) Remove all sugar drinks only water. Do not even bring them in the house. 3) 2% Milk only 4) No FAST FOOD at all 5) Watch the snacking, they do this often at this age especially late at night. 6) Monitor weight and celebrate success. This middle school age is when something can be done
