Muscle pain?: Young women tend to have increased stress&this stress leads to muscle stress in the Trapezius Muscle. This pain high up in back. Is pain high up or lower down? Pain can also result from poor posture. Lower back pain more common after heavy lifting - usually incorrectly. An internist would get couple xrays & if any abnormality seen refer to orthopedist. Muscle pain treated w anti-infam med(Nsaid)
