Ate something then hour later lower part of throat on right side aches & feels as if food is stuck there. only two issues i have. ideas? how to treat?

It is most likely: some inflammation related to gastroesophageal reflux/GERD. Stomach acid travels up the esophagus creating inflammation and possibly ulcers and scars. Or an esophageal diverticula (blind pouch) or web may have formed. If it simply goes away by itself, nothing needs to be done. A short course of OTC anti-reflux meds (generic Pepcid/Nexium) may help. If persists, discuss with your doctor. Stay well:)
