are intravenous iron infusions contraindicated or riskier for patients with vascular ehlers danlos syndrome?

YES!!: Most of the time, if you indeed iron deficient, you can take foods which are rich in iron. If that's not for you you can take either tablets or liquids. To get an IV infusion of an iron preparation is running a big risk of very serious side effects. Why do you want to take such risks with your body?? You can get intramuscular shots if you have a masochistic personality which you want to satisfy!
