how high should i let my temperature get with cotton fever before i should go to the hospital? have already taken 1000mg acetaminophen. temp is 102.5

Possibly too high: You can try ibuprofen as well but if temperature not responding to over counter medications then you may have infection that requires antibiotics. Don't waste a lot more time to see if it comes down.
