Multiple pathways: There are multiple pathways to becoming a nutritionist -- including certified nutritional specialist (cns), certified clinical nutritionist (ccn) as well as others: http://tinyurl.Com/mag8rto consider how you want to apply the training, and network with other nutrition professionals to get a feel for each. Licensing boards : Contact your state licensing boards to find out about what specific credentials and tests are required to become a nutritionist. You may find that having a bachelors degree in psychology has nothing whatsoever to do with the credentialing of a nutritionist.
