I have what appears to be a bump with a white head beginning to form. i tested negative for hsv2 but positive for hsv1. i just got my results on 1/11 ?

Probably not herpes: You don't say where this "bump" is located. Oral? Genital? Somwhere else? Anyway, a single red bump that develops a whitehead usually isn't herpes. More likely a pimple, folliculitis, or something like that. In the US, half of all adults have positive blood tests for HSV1, up to 90% in some countries. This bump probably has nothing to do with your blood test results.
