used depo for approx 2 yrs. last shotjuly 2015. no period could i ovulate without a period? without a period would the uterine lining be thick enough?

Yes and yes: Yes one always ovulates prior to a period and yes the endometrium will sustain a pregnancy at this stage post depo.
