Pinched nerve: Although there are a number of possibilities, a cervical radiculopathy is among the more common and does not require that you had an injury. A radiculopathy is a medical term for an irritation if a nerve in the spine causing pain that runs along the distribution of that nerve into an extremity.

Radiating pain: like yours which goes from your shoulder to your hands can sometimes be coming from your neck. Would recommend that you're seen by a doctor that deals with spine care, such as a sports medicine physician.
