See DDS: See your dentist and have the area in question radiographed in addition to a clinical evaluation to rule out any dental issues.

Irritation: You're continually irritating an area that is already inflammed with all the medicaments you are applying. The area will heal on its own after a few days. Stay away from spicy and acidic foods and avoid traumatizing the area any further while it heals.

"Pizza Palate": Pizza or other hot foods (cheese toast) and liquids also can burn the roof of your mouth. If the soreness persist beyond one week, call your dentist for evaluation.
