My boyfriend and i both have alpha thalassemia. we are trying to conceive, is it possible to have a healthy child? and if not what are our options?

See genetic: counselor. There are gradations of alpha thalassemia and it may be feasible for you to have a healthy child. It would be prudent to discuss the issue with a genetic counselor. If the risk of an affected child is high, you may wish to seek the assistance of reproductive medicine specialist.
