Depends: Are you seeing double? Do you have to occlude one eye? If this is something that started in childhood, then one eye is suppressed and doubling will not occur. If it is of recent onset, then you should see an ophthalmologist to see what has changed - particularly if there is redness, pain or swelling or the vision has changed.

Many causes: You need to be more specific. Many possible causes including the need for glasses, eye muscle imbalance causing double vision, droopy eyelid (ptosis), or a neurological problem. An ophthalmologist should be able to find the cause and treatment.

What do you mean?: That's a layman's term that can mean a couple of things. If it's a crossed eye it can be managed with surgery or possibly prism in glasses. If it is amblyopia (lazy eye), there is not much to be done at your age.
