Infection, see MD: The most common cause of vaginal discharge with odor is bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. Exactly as you have noticed, BV discharge usually is gray, thin, and small in amount. Trichomonas, an STD, also can do this. Also, gonorrhea or chlamydia often go along with BV or trich, especially at your age if sexually active. You need to see a doctor ASAP. Good luck!
