Yes: This treatment is usually effective but may take a few weeks to fully heal. I think it's also important to abstain from alcohol,heavy caffeine intake, nicotine and irritating compounds like aspirins and nsaids like Advil and Aleve (naproxen). Of course a gastroenterologist is best qualified to treat,advise and follow-up for you.
