Should be safe but:: Nutritional support has been shown to both reduce the toxicity and improve effectiveness of chemotherapy. Wheat germ oil is a good source of Vitamin E so look up interactions between Vit E and the drugs you will be given in the chart I linked above. Take a good multivitamin but try to find one without copper. This free online book discusses supplements that may be very helpful and which can be used in conjunction with most chemotherapy agents: http://www.victory-over-cancer.org/book/
