See your MD: Urinary retention, which commonly leads to uti, in association with back pain can indicate a serious medical condition (spinal stenosis) that may require surgical treatment. You should see your doctor asap to get evaluated as if this the cause, early treatment is critical.

Infection: A urinary tract infection is a likely cause. Other things like sexually transmitted diseases can also be concerning. You should immediately visit your family doctor for urine and blood testing.
