i have 11 year old child & she just had sore throat & now her ears feel blocked. is this bad? is this an infection? i cant really take her to the dr.

Probably viral: As long as she has no fever or severe throat pain, it is probably a viral cold. Give her some pain reliever like ibuprofen, lots of fluids and rest. If she gets a fever for more than 3 days, or has symptoms for more than 10 days, or her symptoms suddenly worsen, you should have her see a doctor.
